Secluded Couple's Cabin Near Beavers Bend State Park
Perched among towering pines and hardwoods, The Nest north of Broken Bow, Oklahoma is the perfect couples or honeymoon retreat. This one bedroom, one bath carriage house, with fabulous in ground pool, spa AND year round hot tub, is sited on four private acres at the back of deed-restricted Wildhorse
Plantation.
Ascend a beautiful curving staircase to this romantic getaway. Furnished with antiques, original art and rugs from the owner's personal collection, The Nest is sure to please the most discriminating visitor.
The open concept main living area features distressed pine floors and walls. A corner, gas log stove provides warmth and ambience on those cold winter nights. In addition to comfortable furnishings, there is a 32
inch flat screen tv, Bose stereo radio, books, magazines and games for
added enjoyment. The kitchen boasts a tin accented ceiling, custom
cabinetry, soapstone countertops, undermount sink and stainless steel
appliances. The cabin is equipped for guests to prepare everything from
a simple snack to gourmet meal. Basic spices, condiments, coffee, tea,
hot chocolate and popcorn are provided. The bedroom has a queen size
bed, love seat, generous storage and closet space and a private balcony.
For your convenience, a full size washer and dryer, laundry detergent,
stain remover and dryer sheets are also provided.
The seasonal in ground pool and spa, complete with rock walls and
cascading waterfalls, are open Memorial Day through Labor Day,
sunrise to sunset. In the event of unseasonably warm weather, the
pool/spa season will be extended. The pool deck offers a generous supply
of comfortable seating and lounging options. The upper deck houses a 4-5 person year round hot tub and amazing views of the night time
Broken Bow sky.
Enjoy your meals indoors or at one of several outdoor dining areas. A
stainless steel gas grill is provided for your cooking pleasure. Spend
your days relaxing by the pool or hot tub, swinging in a hammock,
exploring The Nest's beautiful acreage or take a short drive and enjoy
all the wonderful attractions in the park, at the lake or in the
surrounding Hochatown area.
The Nest is located approximately two miles from the entrance to
Beavers Bend State Park and a 10 minute drive to Broken Bow Lake.
